The LR Alpha Series is a collection of robotics courses that provides a roadmap for learning. This course, Arduino for Beginners, is the first course in the series. Once you finish Arduino for Beginners, you’ll be ready to tackle Build Arduino Robots, where we build robots from start to finish. The LR Alpha Series has its own robotics kit, LR Alpha Kit, which has all of the components you need to complete both LR Alpha Series courses.
If you already have a foundation in Arduino (I/O, configuring sketches, interfacing with libraries, wiring breadboards, Analog vs. Digital signals, etc.), you do not need to take this course. If any of those topics are fuzzy or unfamiliar to you, we recommend taking this course before moving on to Build Arduino Robots. This course is designed for beginners (or as a refresher) so that you can eventually create your own prototypes and start building robots.
